Every other month, the WNA encourages all neighbors to attend a public board meeting. This is an opportunity to get involved and discuss issues of importance to our neighborhood.
Next public meeting will be Monday, October 7, 2019 from 6:30-7:30. We will be meeting at Fresh Thyme in Broad Ripple (6301 N. College Ave) in the Community Meeting Room. Hope to see you there!
Every spring, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) hosts the Great Indy Cleanup, an anti-litter program in partnership with the City of Indianapolis. This event is designed to assist individuals and community groups in combatting heavy litter and debris that have accumulated in public spaces such as streets, alleys, greenspaces and waterways. KIB encourages neighborhoods to rally volunteers for cleanup projects by providing supplies and trash trucks to haul away all debris. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the look of our neighborhood and Warfleigh is proud to have participated in these cleanups since 2014.
Every year the WNA hosts a community meeting to review issues related to the neighborhood and invites representatives from various government and community groups to speak to current issues. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors over snacks and drinks, get up to speed on the issues affecting our neighborhood and take part in the election of our Board of Directors.
This years meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 6:30-7:30pm. We will be meeting at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (6050 N. Meridian St) in Parish Hall.

Every year the WNA helps promote a neighborhood garage sale. Participation is free and the WNA posts links to a map on Nextdoor and on Craigslist of all participating households. This is your chance to clear out that clutter that's been driving you crazy and make a little money on the side!
If you live in Warfleigh and would like to be added to the list of homes participating, email your address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will post an updated map with the addresses of all who are participating. You can find that list by downloading the app "Yard Sale Treasure Map."
The poll is in and this years neighborhood garage sale will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 9am-3pm. If you want to participate, please email us your address so we can add you to the list.
Warfleigh Summer Fest is an annual fundraising event organized by the Warfleigh Neighborhood Association (WNA). Every June, Warfleigh greets summer with a super-sized block party. All of our nearby neighborhoods are welcome to join us for an afternoon of live music, food, beer, wine and awesome raffle prizes. We also have an amazing kids area with crafts, games, bounce house and much more. Proceeds help to pay for the event and make improvements to the neighborhood.
The annual Community Dog Walk is hosted by the Warfleigh Neighborhood Association (WNA) and the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA), in collaboration with the Indianapolis Art Center, and the Optimist Club of Northside Indianapolis. The dog walk is inspired by National Night Out (NNO), a nation-wide event to promote involvement in crime prevention activities and police-community partnerships. The walk begins and ends at Opti Park. Hot dogs and water are provided for free and beer is available for purchase. All proceeds go towards doggie waste stations. This fun and free event is an opportunity to get together with neighbors, make new friends and enjoy a night out with our four-legged friends.
