Update: Indianapolis North Flood Damage Reduction Project (Indy North)

From the November 2023 updated from DPW regarding the flood levy project status:

“The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and DPW as the local sponsor, were notified by FEMA that the Indy North Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) is anticipated to have an effective date of March 20, 2024 at the conclusion of a 90-day appeal period and final processing. FEMA will also publish public notices in the Indianapolis Star.

The Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) reflect the effective maps that the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services will utilize to issue permits after the effective date.
